After weeks of development, I am proud to announce we have released our new suite of games on the Facebook platform. This suite, comprised of Backgammon, 8-ball pool and Reversi, is called Geewa Live!

The name Live!, albeit not the most original one, fits perfectly with our strategy to provide real-time head to head live games. We are using Facebook's new ability to send chat messages to your online friends so you can challenge them immediately if they are online.

There are other similar games on Facebook but we believe we are the only company offering the possibility to challenge your friends rather than some random people. In other games they are either asynchronous (you just influence some global game world) or you play with your friends who happen to be in the same game at the same time. You can't invite them directly and after all playing against a human opponent is great but playing against someone you know is even better.

Of course, the games are connected to the Geewa multiplayer servers which means that if none of your friends have time to play with you, we can always find you an opponent within seconds.
